About the Library

Mission: The primary mission of the LSU Health Shreveport Library is to educate users to employ the skills and knowledge needed to effectively utilize biomedical information resources in support of the institution’s mission to teach, heal, and discover. The Library also serves as a resource for the community beyond LSUHS, providing understandable health information for non-health professionals.
